And like so many things when disasters happen beautiful things are born from them, and the next thing that was born was the entrance of John Frusciante. He was a mind-blowing young man, very much a student of the school of Hillel Slovak, among many other art forms and musicians, and his creative spirit drove us to new heights. He was on fire and he’s just one of the most amazing artists on Earth and we were lucky to have him in this band twice, and write music with him. We’re forever grateful to you John Frusciante.

I hate waking up a realizing I’m in an argument with you.  It’s honestly the worst feeling imaginable.  Last night I had these dreams about us; we weren’t doing anything special, just what we normally do, and it was really quite nice.  I woke up and I was very excited to see you; then I realized that I can’t just be happy to see you..  because I’m supposed to be mad at you, but I’m not.  I don’t know what to do anymore.  I’m sorry for all of the arguments we have, because they always seem to be my fault.  I’m sorry that it upsets me when things don’t go according to plan.  I’m sorry for being such a fuck-up of a boyfriend.  I’m really trying my best, but I’m sorry it isn’t good enough.
